Frequently Asked questions
Curious about how therapy works, what to expect, or how to get started? You’re in the right place.

Your first appointment is typically a 53-minute intake assessment where we get to know your story, explore what’s bringing you in, and begin shaping your goals for therapy.
For child clients, we do a thoughtful two-part intake:
Caregiver-only session – We start with the parent(s) to understand the child’s needs, history, and what’s happening at home and school.
Child session – We then meet with your child in a warm, playful, and supportive environment.
This gives us a fuller picture of your child’s world and helps us tailor therapy from the very beginning.

I offer therapy that is both deeply compassionate and clinically grounded. I’m here to support you in untangling the patterns, beliefs, and emotional wounds that have shaped your life, often for years. My work draws from evidence-based approaches like IFS, EMDR, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation, and is always adapted to your unique needs and lived experience.
Many of my clients come to me after trying therapy that felt too surface-level, overly clinical, or disconnected from the emotional depth they were seeking.
I bring both clinical skill and deep emotional attunement to our work because real healing doesn’t happen through advice or quick fixes. It happens through relationship, safety, and moments of genuine connection where you feel deeply seen.
Whether you’re a trauma survivor learning to feel again, someone who’s simply tired of carrying so much, someone navigating big transitions, or simply feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, I’m here to support you with care, presence, and respect for your nervous system and your story.

Yes, we offer both because your comfort and accessibility matter.
You can meet with us in person at our Newport Beach, California office or online from anywhere in California or Nevada.
Online sessions are held via a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform and can be a great option if you’re juggling a full schedule, managing commute stress, or simply feel more at ease in your own space. Many of our clients find virtual therapy to be just as effective and sometimes even more convenient than in-person sessions.
